For my last post, I picked out my Treats for Tommy Ton from London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013. This time I'm sharing my wearable dream outfits from the London Fashion Week. And yes, I'm still intent on reviewing Milan and Paris shows. Better late than never, right?

Londra Moda Haftası'ndan Tommy Ton'un göz zevkine göre seçtiklerime son postumda yer vermiştim. Bu postta da en favori kaloksiyonlarımdan rüya parçalarımı seçtim. Treats for Tommy Ton (London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013)

OK, who here hasn't heard of Tommy Ton? He is so popular that his horizontal streetstyle close-up shots of fashion jetsetters are sure to find their way to your blog roll almost every day. The binding theme of all his close-up shots of fashion insiders are the eye-catching colours and patterns with playful mix of diffrenet textures with whimsical accessories.

The London Fashion Week was lightyears ago by fashion standards and I still haven't gotten around to checking the Milan and Paris shows but I'm intent on sharing my favorites from London. Certain pieces from London reminded me of Tommy Ton directly, so I'm dedicating my post to these pieces... If you are within 100 feet of Tommy's camera with these outfits and have properly styled yourself with Prada, Celine or YSL shoes and handbags, you can be sure to see yourself on style.com any minute...


Tommy Ton'u duymayan kalmamıştır herhalde. Yatay kadrajda çekilmiş yakın plan detay çekimleri ile Style.com ve GQ.com için yaptığı sokak modası çekimlerini, izlediğiniz bloglardan birisi yayınlamazsa diğeri mutlaka yayınlar. Özellikle yakın plandan çekim yapmayı tercih eden Tommy'nin görüntülediği tüm kadın ve erkeklerin ortak noktası genelde göz alıcı desen ve renk kombinasyonları ile farklı dokuları espirili aksesuarlar ile kombinlemeleri.

Işık hızı ile ilerleyen moda takvimi standartlarında Londra Moda Haftasının üzerinden asırlar geçti ve ben daha Milano ve Paris showlarına bile göz atamadım ama Londra'dan favorilerimi paylaşmaya kararlıyım. Londra showlarından bazı parçalar bana direkt Tommy Ton'u hatırlattı. O yüzden ilk bölümü ona adıyorum... Bu parçalar ile Tommy Ton'un kamerasına 20 metre yakınlıkta dolaşır ve Prada, Celine, YSL çanta ve topuklularla desteklerseniz kendinizi style.com'da görmeniz an meselesi...

Yazlık kıyafetlerin uçuculuğu, hafifliği ve rahatlığını o kadar çok seviyorum ki kışın ortasında İlkbahar-Yaz koleksiyonları mağazalarda yerini aldığında hemen hevesle neler çıkmış bakarım, hatta aylarca o parçayı giyemeyeceğimi bile bile çoğu zaman alırım da. Ama tam tersine havalar güneşli ve sıcakken, ne elim ne de gözüm Sonbahar-Kış koleksiyonlarına gider. Değil satın almak, yünlülere dokunmak, ne derileri denemek isterim.

Kışlık kıyafetler komplike ve can sıkıcıdır. Kombin dertleri başlar. Boğazlı kazaklar sıkar, acaba bu yıl içine girebilecek miyim diye kalın pantolonlara girme düşüncesi bile beynimi kemirir, her sabah külotlu çorap giyme fikri depresyona sokar. "Bu palto bu pantolonla olmaz, bu botlar bu etekle bişeye benzemedi, bu trenchcoatun içine ceket giydiğimde kollarım robot gibi oluyor, akşam çok kar yağarsa topuklu giymemem lazım ama bu pantolon topuklu olmadan palyaçoya benzetiyor, vs, vs."  

Kısacası kış için giyinmekten hiç hazzetmiyorum ama bu kombin beni benden aldı. Neyseki yün ekose peplum etekli kısa trench, balık kılçığı desenli, kocaman cepli yün kalem etek ve her gardobun elzem parçası eğlenceli baykuş t-shirt ile son derece pahallı köpek taşıma aparatından oluşan bu kombinin yaklaşık 45.000 TL civarındaki maliyeti bu sıcakta Burberry'ye koşmamı engelledi.

I love summer dressing so much so that the minute the Spring-Summer collections hit the stores, I run to the stores and buy pieces that I won't be able to wear for months to come. However, the opposite does not hold for me usually. I dread looking at the Fall-Winter collections let alone touch or try them when the sun is still shining and the weather is warm. The thought of  bundling up in clothing depresses me. 

No matter how cool and in they are, cold weather appearel is complicated and dreaded. You (I) get all sorts of styling issues. Turtlenecks squeeze the life of you, the mental image of trying to fit into your thick pants from previous years eat away your brains, the never ending routine of finding clean and flawless pantyhose day in and day out causes daily breakdowns. "This coat doesn't go with this coat, these boats make me look like a peasant with this skirt, I get robot arms whenever I try tp wear a jacket underneath this trenchcoat, I must not wear heels for the evening's expected snowstorm but these pants make me look like a clown with heels, etc, etc."  

In short, I loathe dressing myself for the cooler weather but this editorial image has just won me over. Fortunately though, the approximate grand total of over 30.000 USD budget of the short trench jacket with check peplum in wool, the wool herringbone pencil skirt with huge pockets and cute little buttons and the "basic" owl t-shirt with the exotic dog carrying apparatus that probably costs more than my car, has conveniently deterred me from running to the nearest Burberry Prorsum.

Trend Alert - White Out

Eğer siz de benim gibi indirim sezonunda alışverişten uzak duramıyorsanız, en azından zamansız parçalar alın. Resort 2013 koleksiyonlarında baştan aşağı beyaz silüetler bence tam da bu türden. Ne var ne yok hepsini taradım. Benim en çok hoşuma giden bol dökümlü pantolon ceketler ve yerleri süpüren elbiseler. Özellikle uzun boylulara tavsiye ederim, minyonlar ise minik beyaz elbiseleri tercih edebilirler.

If you are like me and you cannot stay away from sales, spend your dough wisely and invest in all white silhouettes, especially suits. You wont't be sorry. Here are all my picks from Resort 2013. My favorites are the comfy flowing pants with soft jackets, or the floor sweeping dresses, recommended especially for the tall gals, while petites can favor the little white dresses.
