Japanese Dreams - Yigal Azrouël Resort 2013

Malesef hesaplarıma göre yazın tam ortasına geldik ve Sonbahar Kış ya da Pre-Fall koleksiyonlarına bakmak bile depresyon tehlikesi arz ediyor. Bu yüzden termometre 20 derecenin altına düşünceye kadar sadece Resort  koleksiyonlarına konsantreyim. Fas-Fransız orijinli İsrailli -Amerikalı tasarımcı Yigal Azrouël'in Resort tasarımları ise benim için Prozac gibi. Moda ne kadar bir yaratım süreci olsa da, tam anlamıyla zevk alabilmem için kendimi o kıyafetler içinde hayal edebilmem gerekiyor. Resort 2013 mahsülünden şimdiye incelediklerim arasında Azrouël koleksiyonunu bu anlamda tek geçiyorum. Öyle şık, giyilebilir, pratik, modern, temiz ve  iç açıcı ki, tamamına bayıldım. Koleksiyondaki her bir parçayı tereddütsüz yılarca giyerim. Kesimler ise çok ustaca, tüm fazla kiloları affediyor. Mavilerin güzelliği bana çok sevdiğim Çin porselenlerini hatırlattı. Azrouël'in ilhamı ise Japonya ve özellikle Japon bahçeleriymiş.

According to my calculations, we are in the midst of summer and even the thought of Fall-Winter or Pre-Fall collections is utterly depressing. Hence, I'm currently concentrating on Resort collections, at least until the temperature drops below 70 F degrees. Yigal Azrouël's Resort designs are like Prozac to me because I need to be able to imagine myself in the looks. The Israeli-American designer of Moroccan-French origin has always been a favorite of mine and this collection just stole my heart. It's all chic, wearable, practical, modern, clean and refreshing. I would wear every single piece in this collection for years to come. Also, it doesn't hurt that his mastery of cuts would conceal any excess baggage. The beautiful blues remind me of Chinese porcelains. However, Azrouël's inspiration for the collection is Japan and especially Japanese gardens.
